Like many Democrats, I’ve always wondered how powerful our allegedly lefty party would be if we just used some of the Republican’s dirty-trick-fear-and-loathing medicine on them instead of fellow Dems. Thankfully, Barack’s been able to successfully defend his title as Best Republican Ever with a slew of negative advertising that has made the incumbent look safe while making Romney appear to all but say in his own words that he prefers an America of shanty towns and ghettos groveling at the feet of rich white people and or corporations.

I, for one, feel ambivalent that Barry O isn’t talking more about his not-so-insignificant accomplishments under difficult circumstances. Is this another example of “Be careful what you wish for?”
